After an initial career as a senior software developer, after the dot com bubble burst Graham moved his family to Arizona in 2001. There, he began a new career in the Recycling industry after founding ScrapComputer.com. Noticing there was no software for the industry he began development of what would become ROMS (Recycling Operations Management System). Fast forward 24 years and ROMS is now the gold standard ERP in this sector. Recyclecoin was a natural next step in the ROMS evolutionary journey.

To launch Recyclesoft, Graham realized he would have to completely detach from any involvement in Escrap and ITAD operations (nobody would buy software from a competitor in the industry) which was done mid 2023. However, the Recyclecoin idea was in 2021 when we took on some non-ewaste related recycling projects. The whole subject of ESG reporting was new and naturally data on the entire recycling spectrum is required for accuracy. Encapsulating that dataset into a given Recyclecoin is a natural next step.
