Selling Recyclecoin

DefaultViewWallet.png

Viewing Your Wallet

In View Wallet you will see 2 grids. The top grid lists all of the individual Recyclecoin that you currently own. If it is listed for sale  it is shown in red, if not it is shown in green. Clicking on any top grid row will populate the bottom grid with all the recycling activity  that is contained in that coin. Color coding shows if it was sold, parted out, sent for scrap or shipped to a secondary downstream processor. Right click on either grid row will show a sub menu. In the image shown, the menu allows you the see the full history of that item, where it came from, what tests were done, its component parts, when it was sold or sent to a downstream. Drill Into allows you to see the exact details of everything inside the item, motherboard, soundcard, video, display, memory, cpu's,  ports - eveything;

Listing a Coin for Sale

To list a coin on the Exchange, in the top grid first select the coin you wish to sell.  A right click will show a menu. When you list a coin you may specify a minimum price you are willing to accept or you may accept offers which will be the current market price. The market price will be directly correlated to the Carbon Offset value which will be almost exactly 10,000 metric tons per coin. When you list a coin on the exchange you will be required to validate that you are the owner of that coin. This is most easily done by accessing the encrypted file containing your keywords. Failing this, you may enter your keywords manually.

Retrieving your Keywords

To retrieve your Keywords, click the button indicated in the image to the left. Click 'Browse and a file select window will allow you to select the encrypted keyword file you downloaded after selecting your Keywords. NOTE** The encrypted file is decrypted on the client, ie the users computer. At no point does Recyclesoft or Recyclecoin have access to your Keywords NOR WOULD WE WISH TO!!! Once again, if you lose your Keywords you lose your coins and there is no possibility of recovery whatsoever. Copy the screenshot or the encrypted Keyword file to somewhere safe and secure and not on thie host computer.

Decrypt your Keyword File

Once you have selected your Keyword file, all that you need to do is to click the Decrypt File button (highlighted in yellow). This will populate the grid with your Keywords. Once again, and we cannot emphasize  this enough, GUARD YOUR KEYWORDS!! Store the encrypted file or the screenshot on a usb drive or another computer because without your Keywords, your unsold Recyclecoin will be lost forever!

Once you have retrieved your keywords, to confirm a transaction you need to select any 2 columns of the 3 available.  After this click the 'Post Recyclecoin' at the bottom of the screen. This will then validate your keywords and list your Recyclecoin on the exchange. The 'Seller' part is now complete. In the exchange, a buyer will validate their Keywords in exactly the same way. If validated, the Recyclecoin will be transferred to the buyer's wallet immediately. The sale is now complete.

Behind the Transaction.

For those who are interested, the Keyfile tab in the Wallet shows the detail behind the transaction. This is only visible on the client computer, neither Recyclesoft nor Recyclecoin have any interest whatsoever in this data.

When you first submitted your Keywords the application will have generated a 'Hyperkey' which is a binary string representation of your keywords but also encrypted. This is sent (encrypted) to our servers. When it arrives, it is saved to an encrypted table, so the encrypted file is encrypted again. So, in the unlikely event someone hacked the servers, any hyperkey values would be double encrypted.

After selecting any 2 of 3 columns, the application will calculate the binary values of those columns and add them together. The application will then decrypt the hyperkey value from the server and deduct the calculated value of the 2 selected columns. What remains should equal the calculated binary value of the 'missing' column. If it does, the transaction goes through.
